EEG Data Analysis

Analyzed an electroencephalogram (EEG) brain activity dataset by transforming EEG recordings into time-frequency series to be utilized for measuring the impact of rhythm on syntactic ambiguity for monolinguists and late adopters of German. Preprocessed, cleaned, and standardized the raw EEG data by setting up a usable time-series data structure and scaling. Performed an exploratory data analysis, Fourier time-frequency analysis, and a signal power-spectrum to compare and monitor distinct brain frequencies of the participants, thus determining that the brain shows more activity when processing syntax errors for late adopters of a language.
